Booked Design Space proudly presents the African American Selfie Museum. The exhibit launched in February of 2019 as a black history pop-up, and now serves as a permanent museum in the heart of Houston's Montrose area. Every month the museum rotates to change the exhibit by featuring one-of-a-kind photo opportunities based on African American Experiences and pop-culture throughout the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
New Exhibit:
The month of April will highlight of this month's exhibit will be the 2019 Graduates, 2019 Prom, and HBCU Greek Life.
The exhibit will also honor Houston native and boxing legend George Foreman by creating a replica gym and boxing ring.
Remaining Exhibit:
Houston spoke and we had no choice to deliver! Thanks to the amazing feedback The Houston Time capsule Room, Motown, Ebony Magazines and Newspapers will remain in the exhibit and will not be removed. There will however be a few upgrades to each area that will make your experience even more memorable.

Wardrobe Changes:
Please do not bring luggage to the museum. If you would like to have multiple clothing changes please book a personal shoot. Personal shoots are $75 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours.
Graduation Packages:

Photography:
To shoot a model, pets, promotional products or anything involving a DSLR, GO-PRO and or HANDY CAM please email us at [email protected]
Music Videos:
To book a music video please email [email protected] at least one week before your desired shoot date.
Children:
The museum is free for children 6 and under. For parents with infants please note that stairs are not accessible by strollers so they must be left at the front of the building with the receptionist.
Animals:
Animals are not allowed. If you have a service animal or an emotional support animal please email us at [email protected] prior to your visit so that we can make special arrangements for you.
